Ayurveda is an ancient Indian technique used to rebalance the whole human system. It has been used in Asia for over 5000 years.

Ayurveda teaches that everything, including human bodies are made up of the 5 elements (ether, wind, fire, water and earth) and identifies that each of us has one or more dominant element controlling our bodily functions, known as our dosha.

By identifying our specific dosha we can work with our bodies through diet and lifestyle to rebalance and achieve a feeling of well being.

Massage plays an important role as aches and pains are caused by obstructions to the flow of energy through their carrying vessels. When the body is rubbed this causes bodily air to expand and move generating heat thus removing the tension and relieving the pain. By focusing on the marmas (acupressure points) blockages are released and energy can flow freely through the body

Regular massage relaxes the muscles, nerves, bones and whole body, allowing you to benefit from improved circulation and digestion, lymphatic drainage, and a body that feels energised
